On the road to Utah for Pedro's grandmother's funeral.  I get so bored of roadtrips far too quickly. Good thing I have Celine Dion to play on repeat... over and over again. :) It was while on this trip that I read the devastating news about what Josh Powell had done to his two innocent boys. Ugh.

The snow only showed up on the side of the road once we hit Utah... so it was good we packed our warm, heavy coats!!!

While reading news on KSL, I found a link to watch Utah's State Drill competition LIVE! Whatever plans I had... I dropped and was mesmerized, until they shut them off. It was so fun watching it... not the same as live, but still nice from the comfort of my own home, and without the travel!

Whoa, getting into February and I really am going to need to keep up/keep track of these photos!

I had a guest in at school tonight who wanted to take her hair platinum, blonde, even if it meant frying her hair. Well, that really wouldn't be best... so we were able to convince her that a heavy weave/slice would be a little bit better for her hair. I think she was worried she would hate it... but she LOVED it! The photo makes it look like there was a darker streak on the left side, but in reality, there wasn't. Poor lighting maybe..

Pedro does such an awesome job of making sure I am well-fed. :) He always has dinner ready for me before I go to class and its nice that we still have the time to sit down and enjoy a meal together.

Every year my family has a tradition of doing a gift exchange. It is so much fun - even when it gets a little intense or emotional, haha! This year, we are so excited to be the new owners of an AWESOME popcorn machine. Here is Pedro setting it up for first time use:

I will say, this popcorn tastes homemade (which is my personal fave, above any movie popcorn). Homemade, "real" popcorn is actually, fairly healthy for you. It was so much fun!
